We have a wonderful friend who offered us to stay in her driveway. Funny thing, 3 doors down from our old place! It worked out great. We were there for 2 weeks and then Jeanne had to go to Arizona for a week so we took care of her adorable dog Amber and kitty Willow. It worked out great and the kids loved their time hanging out with Jeanne too! We miss her now that we don’t see her everyday. Love you lots Jeanne!

We went along on a homeschool field trip to Goldstream Park to study the spawning salmon. A beautiful crisp day in the woods!
We got the trailer to Kamloops where we were going to work on the wiring short that was causing problems with the brakes. When we got to the first set of lights in Kamloops we discovered that we didn’t have a second gear anymore. We stopped at the local RV shop and left our trailer to get the electrical worked on. We then took the truck up to a transmission shop to do a road test on the transmission. 2nd gear was worn out.
We called Dodge and got a quote from them to R+R the Transmission. They quoted 18 hours. The Transmission shops quoted 5.5 to 6. Don’t think I will be using the dealer to do much work on my truck.
We had the trailer towed up to the transmission shop while we had the transmission pulled out and inspected. So now we had to figure out what was wrong with the transmission and find out what it was going to cost to fix it. “Gulp”
We spent the week camped in the parking lot there waiting for the truck to get fixed.
We are out of there by late Friday afternoon with our new Heavy Duty Transmission. Truck tows amazing now!
