We LOVED New Mexico and are sad to say bye!! It is sad to leave the beautiful sun and warmth of the south that is for sure! But we will be back again and hopefully Spring is just around the corner on the west coast!
We just spent an AMAZING few days in Taos , New Mexico at the Great World Community with the crew who live and build earthships there! Check it out!

We fell in love with the place and really felt welcome and at home there! We connected right away with a number of the people there. So there is some talk with Curtis and the guys there that he wants to do an internship. But who knows at this point, plans can always change! That is one of the beauties of being on the road! We will get some pics up soon!

We went back to Carslbad caves and walked in from the natural entrance, it was amazing! The kids did great at hiking for an hour and a half to get down there!!! They are such rad kids!
We got to see down into the bat cave which was a highlight for them thats for sure!
We went to Guadalupe National Park after to go and check it out since it was so close by just into the Texas border. We decided from there to go down to Heuco Tanks Texas to camp for the night. But we had a strange not so good experience in Texas. We were close to El Paso and the Mexico border and there is so some strange shit going on down there right now!!!!!! To make a long story short we drove back into New Mexico last night. Curtis had a bad feeling down there really bad and for those of you who know Curtis well you will know he is a pretty intuitive guy so we followed his instincts. On a good note we saw a long lost friend from Squamish and her daughter Cedar while at Heuco Rocks so that was great to reconnect! We also saw a Scorpion, just outside our camper. Cedar and Indi had been playing and obviously disturbed it from its home under a rock so it came out ready to sting! Good thing Curtis saw it from the corner of his eye! But we got a few pics of it
So we are now back in Alamogordo New Mexico and are heading North towards Santa Fe to check out some solar stuff going on here. I am missing home and family right now , my close close friend had here babe yesterday and I so wanted to be there for the birth! But we will be back soon enough for snuggles!! So friends and fam, there is an update, for those who want the full Texas horror story, I will fill you in but lets just say we are safe, well and happy to be out of there in one piece!!!!! Peace and Love..The” Proud to be” Canadian Family Robinson

PS the other pic of Cedar is when he ate out of the bag of sugar for breakfast, NICE!

We spent a wonderful day 750 feet below the earth in Carlsbad Caves!! Here are a few pics, it is hard to get good pictures because you have to be SO STILL!!!!! My fav pic is the boob formation LOL :)
We are heading back this afternoon to walk in by the Natural Entrance, good thing these kids are good at hiking long distances!!! They hiked 1.6 miles through the cave yesterday! We found a great BLM (FREE) campsite just 10 minutes from the caves! We are in the AutoZone parking lot, Curtis is under the truck fixing it! He figures we got bad fuel somewhere along the way with water or crap in it so we had to replace our filter and clean something else out, I am not much of an Auto Tech. I am very happy with The Wifi here and the ability to Reconnect with my friends and family, LOVE YOU ALL!!!!!
Anyways here are the pics

Peace and Love to you all. We will be heading for Texas, yehaww. To climb a few days at Heuco Tanks before heading North in New Mexico :)
