Power has gone in.. We have mixed feelings on it all! With the amazing winter and spring weather we had this year we were able to run a fair amount off our solar setup on our 5th wheel. But with building a bigger home that will have a fair amount more power draw and also due to the fact that Curt works on the computer to make money, we either needed to do a big upgrade on our panels and batteries or tie into the grid, for now we decided to tie into the grid. We had power right to the edge of the property so the cost to bring it in was not much compared to the cost of going off the grid.
So we have our pole in as of about 10 days ago, still waiting for BC Hydro to take their time and hook us up! We didn’t bring power down earlier because we were waiting to do it all at once and run the wires to our well then up to our homesite.
We are planning on incorporating our solar panels, inverter and battery bank into our home power supply and look to add onto it in the future..
We finally have the backend of the website fixed! Curt has been super busy working, so our website fix had to wait a while, anyways its done, so we are back! I am going to update more regularly now that things are moving ahead at a faster pace!!
Our baby Cedar is 3 years old today!! He is very excited that he is such a big boy now!! He is such a happy and cuddly sweet little guy! WE LOVE YOU CEDAR xoxo
PS Our website is broken on the back end right now so I am not able to get pictures up right now, or even post very well at all! Curt will get on it soon 
He has been very very busy even working some 20 hour days last week! So soon we will be back posting more!!
ALso we are meeting with thebuilding inspector in 5 days to submit our plans!! YAY!!!!!
