I know I am getting a little behind and some of you may be checking to see where all the posts have gone! But we are busy it seems and the days fly by! But we are so so happy! We love our land, we love our life and we love our wonderful children! With the change of the year to 2010 we sat down together as a family and also just Curt and I and talked about what our hopes and dreams are for the next year. We also reflected on what an amazing year we had in 2009, our first year I would say we really had together as a family in a long time! Our choice to sell our home and hit the road as a family was still the best decision we have ever made and it has brought us to where we are now. A much stronger solid family! Our kids have grown, changed and learned so much this past year. Through travelling with them they saw things that many people only ever get to read about in books, they smelled the desert air, they swam naked in the warm ocean and they met life long friends as did we. We sat around as a family not in front of a TV as so many families do now but around a campfire, around a board game. Living in a small space has been challenging at times don’t get me wrong, but we embrace the challenge because with it we have learned so much more about ourselves and each other! Following our hearts and dreams also brought us to our land where we are now. So our dreams for 2010 are to continue to spend time as a family, work towards our goal of being self sufficient and grow our own food, enjoy all the little moments and embrace the journey!
